This apportions the leftover questions properly so the blueprint always adds up, and scores an attempt with the marking scheme applied correctly - an unattempted question scores zero, it is not a wrong answer. How to set up & use

  1. Buy the license — your key (lic_...) appears on the order page and in your email.
  2. Sign in at app.synoriaai.com with your license key.
  3. No installation — the product runs in your browser, on your own isolated instance.
  4. 1. Open the app and select your exam (e.g., JEE Main) from the dropdown.
  5. 2. Add chapters one by one: type the chapter name, enter its weight (e.g., 8 for Rotational motion), and click 'Add chapter'. Repeat for all chapters.
  6. 3. Enter the number of correct answers you got in a practice attempt (e.g., 45).
  7. 4. Review the generated question blueprint, which shows the exact number of questions per chapter that adds up to the paper size, plus the naive rounding for comparison.
  8. 5. Check your score with the correct marking scheme (unattempted = 0, not -1), and see the two common wrong sums alongside it, plus the break-even guess rate.

Is my data safe when I use my own API key for question drafting?

Yes. Your API key stays in your instance and is never shown back to us or stored on our servers. All drafting happens locally with your key.

Does this tool generate actual questions for me?

No. It builds a question blueprint from your chapter weights and scores your attempts. Optional question drafting is available only if you provide your own model API key.

What happens if my chapter weights don't add up to the paper size exactly?

The tool uses largest-remainder apportionment to make the blueprint add up exactly, and shows the naive rounding beside it so you can see if it's one question short.
